🗺️ Road Trip to the Coop! 🐔
You definitely don't need to hit all these stops to get here, but if you want to make a fun day out of your trip to pick up your birds, here are some of my absolute favorite places to check out on your drive down from the Providence area!
Sam's Bakery
First Fall River stop! You absolutely have to grab a famous meat pie or some fresh bread for the road.
Marzilli's Bakery
Need a grinder or some incredible pizza? Marzilli's in Fall River is a must-visit for lunch.
Hoo Mee Chow Mein
You can't pass through the area without trying the famous, crispy Fall River style chow mein!
Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse
Craving some hibachi or a great sushi roll? This Fall River spot has you totally covered.
Fiesta Mexican Restaurant
Stop by Fiesta in Fall River for some amazing Mexican food, margaritas, and chips and salsa before hitting Tiverton.
Mr. Chen's
Still hungry in Fall River? Grab some amazing takeout from Mr. Chen's to bring home for dinner later.
Dunkin'
The perfect time for a quick bathroom break and to grab an iced coffee before taking the scenic Crandall Rd route.
Arruda's Dairy Farm
Stop by for some of the freshest local milk around! They also sell locally raised beef and Rhode Island's famous coffee milk.
MacRay's Seafood
Stop by MacRay's for some incredible local seafood and cool off with a classic Del's Lemonade.
Gray's Ice Cream
A legendary Tiverton spot! Grab a scoop of homemade ice cream before or after your visit to the farm.
Weetamoo Woods & Pardon Gray Preserve
Need to stretch your legs before picking up the flock? I highly recommend taking a quick hike through these beautiful, scenic Tiverton trails.
Dog Park & Playground
Right up the road from my house! Let the kids burn off some energy, and let the pups stretch their legs. (If you bring a Basset Hound, they'll fit right in with my crew—Cletus, Guss, and Leeroy!)
