I absolutely love seeing how my birds grow up and thrive in their new coops. That is why I host a weekly photo contest over on the Koops Coops Facebook page! It is a fun way to share your beautiful flocks, connect with other chicken tenders, and earn some serious bragging rights.

How to Play

Check Facebook

Every week, I will make a post on my Facebook page announcing the "Breed of the Week" or a specific fun theme.

Snap a Pic

Capture an egg-cellent photo of your bird that matches the theme. Get creative with it!

Drop a Comment

Reply to the weekly contest post with your photo and tell me a little bit about your bird, like her name or favorite treat.

The Winner's Circle 🏆

At the end of the week, I will pick my favorite photo. The winner gets ultimate bragging rights, and their bird will be permanently featured right here on my website as the shining example for that breed!

Check your inboxes! If you submitted a winning photo, I’ve sent you an email with a special ticket to play my brand new Chicken Bug Game to claim your prize with your next purchase!

I’ve been working really hard on building this little game myself. It’s pretty simple: you pick a bug pile, your chicken snacks on it, and then you see your prize. If you got a ticket, the game will automatically save your prize directly to your account.

Want to try it out? Even if you didn’t enter the contest, you can still head over and try the game for free! Playing without a ticket won't save your game or prizes, but I’d love for you to just give it a spin and see what I’ve been working on.

Pay It Forward ❤️

I love seeing everyone participate, but I know pickup isn't always easy if you aren't local. So, I’ve added a new "Pay It Forward" option!

If you win a prize but can't make it to the farm for pickup, you can now opt to swap your item for a $5 donation to a local rooster rescue. Don't worry—your name and your flock will still get the spotlight on the website!

*If you won a ticket, there is a new option before you play the game that asks if you want to donate to the rescue instead.

The Golden Rules

Koops Coops Alumni Only: To keep things fair and accurate to my breeding lines, the birds featured in your photos must have originally come from my farm.
Stay on Theme: Make sure your photo matches the requested breed or theme for that specific week.
Permission to Post: By submitting your photo to the contest, you are giving me permission to use your image on koopscoops.com and my social media pages. (Don't worry, I will give your bird all the credit she deserves!)
